What is faith?
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1 KJV
“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”

“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

When a believer has faith, he or she sees beyond the current circumstances despite what they may be.
Even if everything and everyone surrounding the individual is the total opposite of what he or she desires, the believer's faith causes him or her to be sure that the desired outcome will be attained.
Faith, then, says that my current situation and/or resources do not determine my future.
Why should a believer have faith?
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
Hebrews 11:6 NIV
Our foundation as believers is built on faith. Our confession that we believe in God and his son Jesus Christ, is strictly based on faith in God's word. Why? We have never actually seen God or Jesus; we weren't present for the events that are detailed in the bible, yet we believe that God exists, that Jesus is the Messiah, and that all events depicted in the bible are factual.
Everything that we believe God for, is just that, a belief or desire before it comes to fruition. If we don't believe that what we need or want will come to pass, there is no use in asking for it. In the same way, if we don't believe that God is who he says he is or can do what we need him to do, why should we believe in him? For this reason, we must have faith as a believer, even if it is very little.
“He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.””

Our faith is the catalyst for our miracles, purpose, visions, prophecies etc to come to past. If we possess even the smallest amount of faith, nothing is out of our reach. We can achieve and receive anything that is in accordance with God's will.
How does faith relate to Purity?
Faith and purity go hand-in-hand.
Our faith keeps us on a sexually moral path.
Our faith says that God can keep us from falling.
If we desire to marry, our faith allows us to believe that God has a mate for us who will agree with purity and be committed to purity while courting.
Our faith says that purity is possible even in an overly sexualized society.
Our faith pushes the envelope causing us to believe that we can live in a world that is free of sexual sin.
WHEN THE WORLD SAYS NO TO PURITY; OUR FAITH CAN SAY YES TO PURITY.
WHEN OUR FAITH SAYS YES TO PURITY…THEN THE GRACE FOR PURITY IS RELEASED UNTO US.
Tools to Build Your Faith for sexual purity
1. Believe that sexual purity is possible. Read the article Sexual Purity is Possible
2. Take time to build your faith in God’s Word. Sexual immorality is a mountain that can only be moved by a strong faith, not a weak faith. 3. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Begin to make faith confessions based on God’s word concerning your walk in sexual purity. To learn how to use faith confession to attain sexual purity, read this article ‘The Power of Faith Confession for Sexual Victory’.
4. Faith grows for sexual purity as you spend time in prayers on the area of purity. I recommend you get our material titled ‘40 DAYS SEXUAL PURITY PRAYER WALK’. 5. Disassociate yourself from people who live in sexual immorality and do not believe in sexual purity. Go and find people who are living in sexual purity and connect with them. Make them your friends and share ideas, issues and prayers together. With this you will be able to tap into their grace and anointing for sexual purity. Your faith grows are you connect with faith builders.
