The Concept of ‘Quickie’
The term ‘Quickie’ is the common name used for ‘Quick
Sex’.
Quick Sex or rather ‘quickie’ as the name implies, means
‘having sexual intercourse with a person in a fast, immediate and brief
encounter in order to get instant sexual gratification or satisfaction. (E.g.
60 seconds, 2 minutes, 5 minutes or 10 minutes).
Why People Prefer Quick Sex
1.
They feel less condemned or guiltless when
practicing it.
2.
It does not waste their time.
3.
It gives them instant gratification for their
sexual lust and passion.
4.
It gives them opportunity to have sex in the
public. (e.g. some are having sex in the school; sex in an elevator; sex in a movie theater; sex in the office; sex
in the car; sex in the kitchen, e.t.c).
The Cause of Quick Sex
We are living in a society that has fallen short of
standard, morality, truth, purpose, ethics, laws and culture. We in living in a
world that sees morality has illiteracy, nudity as fashion and sexual
perversion and violence has modernization, freedom and civilization.
Quick Sex has become the sexual trend of the day because
we live in a society where people always look for ways to gratify their desire
NOW, irrespective of the damage it will cause in their life, destiny and even
relationships.
Quick Sex practice is highly influenced and driven by the
spirit of lust and an uncontrollable sexual desire.
Quick Sex is an act of foolishness. It is an expression
of lack of self-respect, dignity, decency and reasoning. Also, Quick sex can
lead to sexual addiction. I HOPE YOU ARE NOT ANGRY WITH ME!
YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE CLEAR TRUTH…
Sexual immorality is not determined by the longevity of
sexual intercourse you have with a person.
Sex is sex. Sin is sin.
Long sex, quick sex, hard sex or soft sex…or whatever you
may call it (Yes, people like to give name and meaning to everything for their
selfish pleasure), AS FAR GOD IS CONCERN, every form of sexual satisfaction
that is not between a man and his wife…IT IS IMMORALITY…IT IS SIN. NO LONG SERMON!!!
A lot of people today see ‘quickie’ as nothing but just
fun, game or simple pleasure. They say ‘it doesn’t matter’ ‘we only spend 5
minutes’ ‘we didn’t even enjoy it’ ‘we just want to try something’.
TIME TO TAKE CHARGE, HAVE CONTROL AND OVERCOME
The power to overcoming an uncontrollable sexual desire
is not in engaging in quick sex.
Quick sex is not
the solution to sexual passion and lust.
We must not our sexual hormones and feelings to enslave
us. We are not animals! We have been given Will Power by God in order to make
wise decisions and right choices.
We must develop the attitude of discipline and self
control.
We must not change our value system. Let us seek to do
the right thing rather than seeking to always feel good.
We must understand that the seeds we sow today will speak
for us tomorrow.
A moment of
madness can lead to eternal damage of our life, future and destiny.
Note: If it doesn't make sense today...It will make sense tomorrow.
