In this lesson, I will be sharing with you the Part Two of my Masturbation series teachings.
In part one teaching, I share with you what
masturbation is all about and its causes and consequences.
In this part two teaching, I will go straight to the
point to give you proven steps I took that others have also taken to come out
from the bondage of masturbation.
God’ will for you is to live a life of freedom,
purity and victory.
You are not meant to live in sexual bondage and
struggle.
There is always a way out with God.
1. You must accept that the
ability to gain freedom and victory over any sexual struggle is by the grace of
God. Therefore, you must humbly call for His Help. The Word of God in Isaiah 41:10 give
us assurance of His Divine help.
2. You must acknowledge that
your body is the temple of God and that through masturbation you defile and
dishonor our glorious body. Therefore you must ask God for His mercy and
forgiveness.
3. To experience freedom from sexual struggle is
having the courage to speak out.
Yes! Shout it loud; don’t die in silence.
You must not allow fear, shame or guilt to
shut you in darkness.You have to flex your mind and try to share your issue with
a trusted Adult or counselor for advice or prayer.
4. You must try to shut doorways that always
lead to masturbation (i.e. loneliness and idleness).
5. Develop a serious fellowship
with God. Always try to be in God’s presence. When you draw closer to God, the
power to resist the temptation to masturbate will come to you.
6. Practice studying the Word
of God regularly. This is the absolute weapon for washing and transforming your
mind from sexual thoughts and imaginations that always lead you to
masturbation.

7. Make a choice to stop this
unclean habit. Make positive confession of your freedom in Christ. You are not
a slave to any sin or negative habit. You are more than conqueror through the
saving power of Jesus’ Blood. Make a choice to accept the free gift of
righteousness and enjoy God’s grace.
Take these steps very
serious and you will also share your testimony of freedom. (Please make sure
you share with anyone you know that is struggling with this issue).
